Random PC Restarts While Playing High End Steam Games

I originally tried getting help from steam forums, but I didn't really get any answers from anyone there. So I decided to repost my problem here.

First here are my specs:

Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0
Processor: AMD FX-4300 Vishera Quad-Core 3.8GHz
Graphics Card: EVGA GTX 760 2GB
Ram: HyperX Black Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
Power Supply: Rosewill Xtreme Series RX750-S-B 750W
Hard drive: 1TB 7200Rpm
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master GeminII S524
Case: Cooler Master Storm Scout ATX Mid
OS: Windows 7 ultimate x64

Other Hardware:
Headset: Turtle beach x12
Keyboard: Microsoft Sidewinder x4
Mouse: Corsair M60

Other things you should know first:

1. I don't overclock anything, and my temps are good under stress tests (Overheating has never been a problem).
2. My bios and drivers are all updated.
3. Ran Memtest a few times and it passed.
4. Have not had problems with non steam versions of games such as Skyrim. I also play League of Legends a lot and have never had a restart.

The problem:

Generally with any steam game I've played with my pc I've had random restarts while playing. While playing, it can happen almost instantly, a few minutes, a few hours, or not at all for the entire night. Some of the games that I have played that have this problem occur are: Skyrim, Borderlands 2, Dying Light, and Evolve. When my pc restarts, my screen goes straight to the "Windows did not shut down properly" screen. In Event Viewer I get a kernel power error and an event processing error and sometimes a few others .

Things I've tried that seem to help for some games:

1. Tried windowed mode in a lower resolution (1280x270) for Dying Light and the crashes seemed stopped almost completely. The same goes for Skyrim, but the crashes just seemed way less frequent.

2. Turning off the steam overlay may or may not have helped for Skyrim.

Other important things to know:

1. I have played Skyrim with a non-steam version and never had a problem.

2. I just got Evolve and have yet to finish a single game before my pc restarts.

EDIT #2: dropbox for logs before and after crash while playing evolve

I noticed that my gpu memory hit nearly 100% usage during each game (I played 2 games that were about 3 minutes long and crashed about a minute into the third game). I also noticed my gpu temps got up to 80C, but usually stayed around 75C while playing.

EDIT #3: I think I'm having memory leak issues of some sort while playing these high end games. I know I've had a few memory leak errors come up in event viewer, and I also had 100% allocated memory usage while playing. Does anyone know a few steps I can take to fix this?

I have a feeling it may be a vram issue, especially since this only occurs at full resolution in demanding titles. Also your temps may be getting to high and you are unable to catch them before overheating. If you want to check the card again try running 3D mark

Thanks for replying so quickly! If it is a vram issue, is there a way through software to keep my card from maxing out? Or because these are high end games does it mean that I will need a card with more ram, maybe 4gb instead of 2gb? I'll try running 3d mark again to see what happens.

If it truly is a vram issue you will have to rma the company. If the card crashes while running 3d mark contact evga and see if they have a solution or will give you the rma on the card. Best of luck to you

I'm using HW Monitor to log temps, usage, ect. and I just realised that my GPU Video Engine load stays at a constant 0%. I don't know if HW Monitor is not detecting it or if there is that could be another issue?

Tried using a friend's monitor and his dvi cable to play on instead of using my tv with an hdmi. No crashes while using the monitor/dvi, so I guess I'll be buying a monitor soon.
