I installed a new hard drive in my dell laptop, i installed the operating system mailed from Dell and now I get an error message 561 when I try to connect to setup the wifi to connect to the internet so I download the drivers. Could it be that I did not connect cables inside properly?

How can I download the drivers if I cannot connect to the internet. Please Help!!!

Tman, that was the way to go, I felt pretty dumb that I did not think about it. But after installing all the drivers and trying to connect to the internet, this are m options Broadband Connection... I choose to connect to the Internet and get "Connecting through WAN Miniport ( Broadband Connection.) Error 651: The modem (o♂4 Other connecting device) has reported an error...
Then I troubleshoot and I get "Plug Ethernet cable into this computer
An Ethernet cable looks like a telephone cable but with larger connectors on the ends. Plug this cable into the opening on the back or side of the computer.
Make sure the other end of the cable is plugged into the router. If that doesn't help try using a different cable"

But I want to use WiFi. What do you recommend?
I am pretty frustrated, I need to use this computer. Thanks a lot for your help
