Another Problem about HDMI from my laptop to TV

Hi, I have a Asus laptop and a Sony TV
here is the model: 46r452a
no connection when use hdmi, the laptop dont recognize the tv and the tv doesnt show anything but" No signal"
i tested both my laptop and my cable several time with another monitor
but i realize that: when i turn off my tv, i plug the hdmi in and my laptop recognize the tv, @<@
then i turn on the tv, the laptop disconnect, im really confuse

How old is the TV? Some times there are otherwise unexplainable issues between HDMI versions so if the TV is an older HDMI version and the laptop or cable are newer, it's possible the problem lies there. Small chance of that, but I have seen it before.

You said you tried the laptop and cable with another monitor but have you tried another device to input on that hdmi channel using the same cable? Possibly the HDMI channel on the tv has an issue. If it has a secondary HDMI channel you might try that port.

I used to connect my laptop and my tv with another HDMI cable, and at that time, it's unstable, and after a while the cable it's run down then I got this new cable, I buy the laptop before the tv 1 or 2 year
