GPU Usage way too high just by using chrome

My GPU is constantly spiking to around 20%-40% while on chrome since I installed windows 8, when I had windows 7 this diddn't happen and yes GPU acceleration is disabled.
Gpu is an HD 7950.

Windows 8 interface maybe looks more classy but needs more raw power

Your temps seems ok (34º C), I have a gtx 750 ti ans temps are around 32º C.

As about usage, it should maybe be a little lower, but not sure. My GPU usage can go as s high as 33%, without any stable period like yours I think there is nothing wrong with your GPU.

I have windows 8 and those results were checked while browsing.

Yea stressing a GPU is very bad for the GPU for a CPU its fine.
