Low FPS Arma 3 GTX 970

So i just bought and installed an EVGA 970 GTX Superlocked and i am getting low fps running altis life on arma 3.

I get about 25-30 average and even though its MP surely i should get more than this?

My Specs

Mobo : Asus H81M-C
CPU : i3 4130
GPU : EVGA 970 GTX SC
TeamGroup Elite Black 8GB
PSU : Cooler Master VS Series 550W

I was thinking of getting this as an upgrade if it will get me more performance.

Your CPU is bottlenecking. Arma is very hard on the CPU, and an i3 is just not up for the task. That i5 will do much better.

Keep in mind that even the best machines out there still have trouble with the Arma series. My own rig can't max out all graphics options and view distance on Arma 2 and maintain 60fps, and I have a 4790K and a GTX980. It's a ridiculously complex simulation.
