Recently my network speaker no longer works via UPnP with my desktop. The speaker responds to the fact that I am trying to play to it, it just gets stuck buffering and never plays the audio. Bluetooth works fine and so does network from my laptop. I am not sure what changed but it just will not play from my desktop anymore. It worked less than a week ago and I do not know of any changes I did to my system besides changing settings so my computer would stay asleep. This is driving me crazy and any help would be appreciated.

I have looked through that and it only has information on how to get it connected. Nothing about specific playback issues. So far I have determined it is either the speaker rejecting my desktop or something messed up with the desktop.

It works fine from my laptop. Both hardwired and wireless. It just will not play music via network on my desktop. I can still see the speaker and control it but I cannot stream to it.

The only thing I did was disallow my network card to wake my computer. I did make two hardware changes recently. I added a cable for a USB 3.0 to 2.0 so I could hook up the front ports on my PC and I added a pci-e USB 3.0 card. I also just tested with a different router and it still does not stream to it.

I had a feeling that was the change you made, did you try undoing that setting? Also turn off "allow computer to turn off this device to save power" option.

You may need to contact Sony support and see what they say, although with only a single PC having issues they may toss it back to you as not being an issue with the speaker.
