Hello,

I recently built a budget gaming rig for a friend, the system specs are:

Motherboard: Biostar B75MU3B
CPU: Intel Core i3 3120 (lga 1155)
Ram: 8gb DDR3 1600
Graphic Card: Nvidia GTX 660
PSU: EVGA 500W 80Plus certified
HDD: Seagate Hybrid 1TB
OS: Windows 7 ultimate

Initially after I built the computer, it was working just fine with Nvidia drivers 347.52. About a week later my friend brought the computer back stating that she attempted to update the graphic drivers and ever since she did that, windows will not boot up, instead just after the windows logo finishes loading all you get is a blank screen.

I have done the following to attempt to figure this problem out:

1. completely removed all video drivers using DDU (Display driver uninstaller), after reinstalling updated drivers same problem persists.

2. I did a fresh re-install of windows, twice, with the same result specifically after re-installing the graphic drivers

It should be noted that the windows default vga driver works, clearly not at full resolution and you could not play games, but it has full functionality.

Nothing is overclocked and yes, I was sure to connect the right video input to the back of the card and not the back of motherboard ;). Any assistance or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
