Hi everyone, my name is Vince & I'm a newbie. As the title suggests, I am having a little trouble after my 1st PC build. I have never seen this problem before, maybe one of you can enlighten me.
After turning on the PC it cuts out the power in 2 to 5 seconds, to retry, I have to pull the plug and push the power button again. It just keeps happening.
Any help would be gratefully accepted, cheers, Vince.

Solution
I would first check all of the PSU connections, and it might be that your heatsink/thermal paste could not be done correctly. With no cooling, a CPU will shut down the system in seconds.

Hope it works out well, sometimes when you get to moving stuff around is all you have to do is bump the cooler good and it will break that seal and cause overheating. I speak from doing it myself, a couple of times! I have 8 computers that I am always doing one thing or another to.
