I am planning to buy a new Video card, which is MSI GTX960 2GB DDR5 128BIT GAMING but i dont know if my motherboard will be compatible with it.

Here are the specs:

Intel Core i5 2310 @2.9ghz
Intel Dh61ww 1155 motherboard
8gb ram
Hec Cougar Sl-600W Psu

Any suggestions? Please help i'm not good at this :) Thanks

yes it's compatible :)

I dont think it performs better, they trade blows in benchmarks and I've seen the 960 on top more than once.

Having said that, I think 3gb vram will become the new standard for 1080p very soon so yes the 3gb 280 is the smarter buy right now :)

Well, yes. Even a low clocked i5 would be enough to drive 280 or even 290.
