Turning off plug after each shut down

Hey guys, curious question. Does turning the plug off after shutting down your pc give any benefits or is there none really? I notice that some power still gets sent to the mobo even after powering down your pc, so does turning the plug off actually help what so ever? Thanks guys :)

When did you first feel the need to start using made-up terms, "2 : voltage in excess of the normal operating voltage of a device or circuit"?..;) :)

Edit: Anyway, usually, if the PC "Sleeps" there is still power to the USB ports (& such); if you "Shut Down" there will be only minimum power drain, if any. If you're bothered to switch it off, do it; but, it'll save like a dollar @ the end of the year. =)
