I would like to know if the Intel i5-core 4690k 3.5GHz, is compatible with the G.Skill Ripjaw X Series DDR3 1600.
I also heard some where that the cpu can only take so much voltage, the voltage in this memory is 1.5V, will the Intel i5-core be able to handle the voltage?

Check your motherboard to see what memory is compatible, the CPU makes no difference... 1.5v is the "standard" voltage for most memory on the market and virtually every motherboard will run that.

The CPU contains the MC (memory controller) so yes, the CPU plays heavily in what data rate of DRAM you can utilize, i.e. the K model CPUs can be OCed which raises the potential of the data rates of the DRAM you wish too run. Very few non-K CPUs can run 2400, let alone higher on the 1150 platform, many non-K CPUs can't run 2133 and some can't run 1866

Even if the Motherboard supports the sticks, you may, at times, find yourself stuck at lower bandwidths simply due to CPU (essentially it's MC).
