Good case for cable management and cable management tips

Hi guys, I'm planning to switch to a new case. Im looking for one with good cooling, cable management and room for expansion. Any suggestions?

Im also in need in some cable management pointers, being the new builder I am, I don't really know all the tips and tricks to get my build looking nice and clean.

Most any modern case has built in management. A modular PSU really helps. You just run all cables from the psu to the space behind the mobo area then bring them out at the nearest grommet.

That Cm690iii looks good, would it be better than the air 540?

The air540s are sort of home theatre cases. The CM690III is a standard atx mid tower. Its 230mm wide for good cable management and has a 200mm front fan for good air flow. It would easily do for a high end SLI build.

Try the Corsair 730T. Or if you want a Window, the 760T. Both have heaps of room.

I really woukdn't recommend a full tower. Corsairs mids are still huge and yes the 500r is great. Fans on low still provide plenty of cooling but because its so well ventilated a loud gpu (like mine...) is noticable. But if you have a gpu with a good cooler will be pretty quiet.

I've got a 690II. Its fine for a hex core i7 and two gpu's. The 690III gives you better cooling and better cable management space.

if you plan on having a bunch of expansion / graphics cards, i would avoid all towers and get a bench like a HAF XB or similar. keep the mobo horizontal, cards stay vertical, heat rises naturally so doesn't get trapped anywhere, and cable management is in the lower half of the chassis.

The name is lame but I see a ton of folks using it so hope its a good one. For quiet, i think the fractal r5 gets good marks.
