At the time of writing, I'm building my first a PC. I need some help for wiring. What do the abbreviations of HD and Ac '97 mean, Where do I plug the HDD LED wires in? Where do I plug the LED wires in? I'm using a Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R motherboard.

AC'97 is an intel audio codex, HD is a more modern intel audio codex, typically if you're wiring stuff up it's in relation to the front panel audio plugs.

The HDD LED plugs into the cluster of plugs on the bottom right of the motherboard, that's where all the motherboard to case connections are plugged in except for the audio ones which typically are at the bottom left of the board.
