Will everything work right out of the box? (First Timer)

I'm just a bit nervous about stuff not working right away like it should. Will I run into these "bios" (don't understand what that is yet) updates and compatability issues that people are having with this build? Please explain if you could.

** Bios and/or BIos Update

The bios is pretty much the simple GUI so you can do REALLY basic stuff like look at specs and temps.

A Bios Update or 'flash' is when the bios has to be updated in order to work with a specific CPU. You will typically run into this if you get a HaswellRefresh(z97) with a Haswel(z87). They have the same socket, but their bios and chipset are different. Hence, a new bios is needed to support the CPU. Hope I cleared it up a little bit.
