Better water cooler. Low latency memory at 1.5v. Single 1TB SSD instead of two 512GB drives. Dual 24" monitors instead of a single 32". Add a second GTX 970 in SLI later if desired / needed (or replace with an R9 290 / 290x). There is no reason to build a new rig and immediately do CF with a pair of med / large sized GPUs. There is no upgrade path outside of replacing both cards...
