Need help to confirm, my h100i dead?
After 2 years built this, my pc start to turn off due to overheat this week
Below are temp in idle, although not look like idle lol
If my h100i dead, i want custom water cooling to replace H100i
Any recommendation for custom water cooling + tower casing?
Just want cool temp(oc 4.0ghz already good for me) + new tower casing(new look) + usually off pc 2x per week(about 10min~15min only off pc)

Asus Sabertooth 990FX r2.0
AMD FX8320
AMD Radeon HD 6870
H100i
Corsair AX760
WD Green 1tb
Seagate Barracuda 2tb
Seagate Barracuda 3tb
Seagate Barracuda 3tb
Corsair Graphite 600T

Through my research, I found below :
Phanteks Enthoo Luxe
EK Supremacy MX AMD
EK-XRES 100 D5 Vario (incl. pump)
EK-CoolStream PE 360
PrimoFlex Advanced LRT Flexible Tubing 1/2" ID x 3/4" OD
Bitspower G1/4 Thread 1/2" ID x 3/4" OD Compression Fitting - Matte Black

probably best to remove the cooler from the CPU first, clean it and apply a new layer of TIM

also, disconnect/re-connect the fans and pump

once you've done that, check the temps again and check the pump speed in corsair link

After re-connect, nothing change~
Still 'hot'

After remove > clean > re-connect, still 'hot'
Below screenshot taken right after turn on pc
Cpu temp should be around gpu temp right?

How is the cooler mounted and oriented? Can you provide an image of this?

My point is, it could be an airlock in the pump if you can validate that the pump is working/vibrating/humming. You can try disconnecting the radiator from the case, start the PC, rotate and re-orient the tubes so they are 'down'...wondering if you have flow issues due to this. Would be worth checking into.

Btw, 1 tube cool n 1 tube hot is normal?

Disconnect the radiator from the ceiling of your case so the pump/block is still connected and can function. You'll want to start the PC and then slowly rotate and move the radiator until you notice the temps 'adjust'. Most likely, this will be when the radiator tube inlet/outlet are oriented down and the radiator is vertical...it might even take rotating 180 degrees and back. You might even tap the side or slightly shake it during this operation.

The idea is to try and get the pump to begin circulating coolant again, if the pump is working (do either of the tubes going in or out of the pump vibrate like there is fluid being pushed?).

Also, is your CPU overclocked, or is this stock speeds? What are stock clock temps like?

Ok, I will try play with rad tomorrow(sleepy right now)

Oc a bit, 3.5ghz to 4.0ghz
Have been 4.0ghz for 2years(also pass prime95) without any heat problem, start 'hot' last week

after play with rad, disconnect rad in top, turn around, hear noise.. temp too high to start pc, cant turn on pc
then I replace h100i with stock heatsink, below are temp with stock heatsink

Unfortunately, this is one downside of these types of coolers- they are decently priced (cheap) but they also perform decently. Most good watercooling pumps have a good lifetime and while that doesn't mean they aren't capable of premature failure, it's less likely due to being better components. I'm mainly speaking of Laing DDC and D5 pumps, which are some of the more popular series out there. Iwaki makes some super high-end pumps, but mostly are in-excess of what a normal water loop needs. Jingway makes pumps that are re-branded by Thermaltake and EK, and they perform similar to DDC pumps and XSPC uses (I'm guessing an XSPC variant) of their X2O pump, which the v4 is decent for a small loop, it isn't something you'd want to use for a loop you plan on expanding on beyond CPU-only.
