Hi i have purchased this mobo from ebay and i am waiting for it to arrive, i am a little nervous but nothing ventured nothing gained

How would you tackle the top right corner ideally people who are experienced in this, not too worried about the rest as i have a mechanical pencil and have watched plenty of vids, viewed forums etc (patience is the key and lots of light, magnifying glass)

Also does anyone have a cpu socket diagram so i can see if the pin is important (or just spare, ground etc)

I suspect the picture doesn't clearly show how the pad there may be bent. It looks like a pad may have broken off, but that seems unlikely; perhaps it is bent straight up or in a way not visible in the picture. You'll need to examine it when it arrives.
A mechanical pencil would typically be used to straighten bent AMD CPU pins, not Intel CPU-socket pads. I have used a dressmakers' pin (long, with a ball on the end for easy manipulation) and a jewelers' loupe to successfully fix bent CPU-socket pads.
Good luck; you may have scored a real winner if you can fix it.

Ok thanks for the heads up regarding the mechanical pencil

Did you use the 'flick' method to get them back in place?

I am worried about getting it back to its original position without snapping it

One thing i have heard repeatedly is the pins do not have to be perfect just there or thereabouts

Cpu socket diagram would be so useful right now

I have just had a go with a cocktail stick what do you think, does it still need tweaking?
