Need help picking a PSU.

Hello!

I recently built my PC with:
GTX 970
I5 4690K
H97-PRO
CORSAIR VENGANCE 8GB
ENERMAX PSU (Which is now dead)

So, I got the asus anti surge was triggered error, I did a lot of research and it turns out that the best thing I shoud do is get a new PSU. So here I am now, I have come across these, I am more comfortable with 650W because I will have that head room I may use in the future.

None of them are anything special really, but out of the 3, I'd pick the NEX 650 G1 despite being noisy. If you can slap in another tenner, the XFX XTR 650w is a brilliant PSU.

I don't really know much about XFX, I don't mind about noise, as my PC is under my desk and j wear heaphones. Reliability is the top of my priortity list.

I have looked at Jonny guru, and it doesn't seem to have some of these PSUs reviewed. Between this XFX and the EVGA.

I have not had much experience with XFX or antec, however this one is maybe a addition to the list of the best one I have come across.

The highest tiered PSU is the XFX XXX with the Antec, EVGA and XFX XTR (to my surprise) below that unit by 1 tier, they are all really good and reliable power supplies though, it's just whether you're concerned about noise, efficiency and modularity.

Ok, I think I will go with the cooler master, the only thing I am concerned about is the GM and the V series, the 550 V series the the same price as the GM 650. The reason why I would prefer this over the EVGA, is these both use a single rail and some other benifits. Please correct me if I am wrong. Only thing I am considering is that if the diffrence between the GM series and the V series from the cooler master PSUs is very large and worth doing I will try and get the extra £10. Thanks for your help, and please correct me if I am wrong. The G2, I had a look around and thr lowest I found was 750W and was sadly above my price range.

The 550V is a better power supply and enough power.

Would I still be able to expand a little bit? Also are the benifits better with the new series them the old series outweighs the extra voltage in your opinion?

Ok, if I can't spend the extra £10 on the V 650, then I will go for the V 550. Thanks for all your help Blackbird, you have helped me more then any customer support agent, I would of probably got a Corsair CX series and before your help i never knew about their poor reliability. Sorry about this, but my budget is really tight. It is between the G1 from EVGA of the GM from Coolermaster. I have found nothing online about this, just wondering if you guys know which one would be better for my build.
