All 4 USB ports not working despite having drivers

Hi I'm having an issue with all 4 of my rear usb ports on my PC. I've installed the drivers, all that I found linked about in other threads relating to this issue but they still don't work.

My PC has:
Intel i7 4790
Gigabyte H81M-S2M motherboard

Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure all cables are connected (sorry if this seems obvious, but I've over looked something like that before myself). If they're plugged in then a system restore should fix the issue if you can't turn off and on the port via device manager and they start working.

I checked the device manager. Turned out my installs of drivers did absolutely nothing as no USB controllers where there! Thanks for your help mater :)
