Hey im just here because Im thinking of upgrading my cpu about a year ago I built a pc got a gtx 690 a i7 965 oced at a calm 3.9ghz used to have 4.2 but heat 8gb of 1600mhz ram. I mostly play games like dayz arma 3 ect cpu demanding so i get around 40-50fps on most servers but I asking should I upgrade my cpu or should i just get better cooling for the old hardware and overclock more. thanks in advance 
p.s I know it was a bit late to get a first gen cpu but if any of you are on a budget I strongly advise getting a 1st gen i7 like i did you can get a 920 of ebay for £30 and a motherboard for the same this will outperform any amd cpu in that pricerange leaving you most of the money for your gpu.
