Cooler Master Nepton 280l and FX 9370. Overkill?

Will a Cooler Master Nepton 280L be overkill for over clocking an AMD FX 9370 to hopefully 5ghz? Or would it be smarter to use something smaller like the Nepton 140XL or Corsair H80i?

Absolutely not overkill, especially with this killer of a CPU. You absolutely need as much cooling headroom for the FX-9000 series since it has so much themal dissipation because of its themal design power of 220W.

I would advise then to go with a larger and bigger water cooler, since it can dissipate more heat out.
