Memory Management BSOD

I've done a lot of searching but I can't seem to fix this. For about 1 week I've been randomly getting a BSOD and then my computer reboots. They are all due to a memory management error. Using BlueScreen view it says the following:

bug check string: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
bug check code: 0x0000001a
caused by driver: ntoskrnl.exe
caused by address: ntoskrnl.exe+74ec0
crash address: ntoskrnl.exe+74ec0

I'm not sure where to upload the dump files but I can if that's needed. Any advice would be appreciated. I've also been playing "The Witcher Enhanced Edition" and it's been crashing a bit too. I'm not sure if they are related.

I also downloaded SlimDrivers and updated all my drivers. They are, to my knowledge all updated. I also tried restoring my computer to an earlier point. Neither worked.

Thank you.

Let's look at the ram first before updating the bios, which isn't that difficult btw.

Which ram exactly? Can take a look with cpu-z->spd tab for a partnr.

Did you use memtest 86+ to check the ram? Needs to be burned onto a boottable dvd/cd and be started from, let it run for >4 passes.
http://www.memtest.org/
is even best to check per module.

Um yeah, I bet that info would be useful.

Motherboard: SaberTooth Z77
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570k @ 3.40 GHz
Ram: 16 GBytes
GPU: nvideo geforce GTX 670

My video drivers are up to date. I have also been getting a memory error on Chrome. Again, I'm not sure if they are related.

I see I am behind on 2 bios updates. I will download and install them now.

Thank you for your reply. This is my ram:

Memory type DDR3
Module format UDIMM
Manufacturer (ID) Corsair (7F7F9E00000000000000)
Size 4096 MBytes
Max bandwidth PC3-10700H (667 MHz)
Part number CMX8GX3M2A1333C9
Number of banks 8
Nominal Voltage 1.50 Volts
EPP no
XMP yes
XMP revision 1.2
AMP no

All four sticks are the same. I will run memtest for 8 passes tonight when I am done and let it run overnight. I'll get back with the results.

I'll wait for what that gives.

You mixed two 2x4 sets for which Tradesman1 one says it's a crapshoot, can work together might not.
Might need some voltage tweaking to get it working properly,he's better at that than i am so you can p.m. him if you like (give a link to this topic when doing so),otherwise will i give it a go if the memtest works out fine.Even for a pass in memtest is it possible that it needs more voltage here and there.

Sorry, I've been busy. I did run the memtest (which was easier than I thought) and found I had a bad stick of RAM. I've sent it back to Corsair since they have a lifetime warranty and look forward to replacing it. I really thought it was a program or maybe I was just wishing.

Anyway, thanks Vic40, I checked your reply as the answer. Thanks again!
