Solution ThatVietGuy Feb 27, 2015 Yes, both of those chips are on the supported list - http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H97%20Anniversary/?cat=CPU If you want to switch out, just take the heatsink off, replace the chip, and reinstall the heatsink. No special procedure involved.
