Battlefield 4 stuttering

Hello, ive been having this issue in bf4, every now and then in a match, the game will freeze for half a second, and when this happens my cpu usage spikes, idk what the issue is. Its not that big of an issue but still annoying, temps are fine, drivers up to date....
specs:
r9 280
i5 4590
8gb ram

and thats another thing, it happens at the most random times.I can be at the customization menu and it still happens, or looking towards the ground with nothing really happening nearby....

Not too sure if this helps, but I had stuttering on bf4 as well, except I have an AMD cpu. I snooped around and found a video where this guy went and changed the registration in windows to unpark the cores, and then I went into bios and turned off AMD Cool n Quite, and bf4 now works perfectly fine. So try unparking you cores and see what happens,

did u try using mantle rather? is your game patched to the latest ver. latest version usually fixes bugs within the game. also try closing unecessary apps on ur pc when not needed. bf4 is a cpu and gpu intensive game.

Thanks for pointing that out. I have had frame drops but it was like 10seconds of 5fps then 5seconds of 60fps then repeat. That happened randomly and I noticed I had Origin in Game enabled. Let's hope disabling it improves things. Thanks for the comment.
