Why am I bluescreening?

So I've had a Lenovo ideacentre K300 for about 4 years now and have been gradually upgrading it. It now has its original 3.2 gHtz CPU, 12 GB DDR3 RAM, a Radeon 7870 GPU, and I'm unaware of the type of motherboard, all powered by a new CZO 600W 80 plus PSU. Recently I have begun pushing it a little harder and have noticed that when it reaches a certain point of stress it will bluescreen. I originally thought this was the result of a weak PSU so I got a power meter but at the point of bluescreen it's only using 120W. Any ideas on why its doing this? (could it be the CPU overheating?)

its possible that you overclocked your cpu more than you should have. If not then maybe you over clocked your RAM. Whatever you overclocked, set it back to its factory settings and try it then.

I've deliberately avoided overclocking anything for this reason
