turbo core overclocking ??

hi i have a question is setting youre cpu to turbo core overclocking ??

i have fx 6350 normal speed 3,9 ghz
turbo core 4,2 ghz

i see 7 to 10 more fps in sniper elite 2

3,9 ghz =35,50 min 94.50 max
4,2 ghz =47.34 min max 101.50

all on ultra

just wonder if go like 4,5 ghz i am overlcocking it to 600 mhz more
it will damage my cpu

Yes Overclocking degrades you hardware lifespan even if it supports turbo core 4.2 ghz, but if you have good cooling then you will less harm the hardware (try to keep your cpu under 60c)

my cpu hits max 45 to 50 degrees on that speed so thing i am good but still wondering is turbo core is overclocking

your stock frequency is 3.9ghz and your exceeding the limits using turbo core so it means you are overclocking.

Well same 4,1 ghz is sweet spot higher i wont get more fps in games and temp stay on 41 c :bounce:
