How to use one PC with two displays

So as the title says, I have got 2 monitors, one is wide and I want to use it for gaming at 1080p and 2nd is normal one. I want to use my LCD for gaming and 2nd for web browsing or other tasks at one time. I was confused to do so, I thought it would be good to ask from you guys, what do I need to do? I'm planning to use one with HDMI and 2nd with DVI.

System Specs:

- AMD FX 8350 @ 4.00 GHz
- Kingston 16 GB RAM
- EVGA GTX 760

You just plug it in and make sure the 1080p monitor is the main monitor. In screen res there's a checkbox to make whatever monitor the main one. It will minimize the game if you do click on something on the other monitor unless you play windowed or borderless windowed.
