Hey Guys
I'm a PC gamer who enjoys playing games, like all other PC gamer's I would like to have a good system that can run next gen games at high frame rates. I would like to keep it intel, and would like a system 'that is bang for its buck'. My budget is £500-600, I would like to keep the cost as low as possible but run games at high frames (60 fps + ). Can you guys give me a good PC setup?

Thanks!!!

Don't be silly, having a legitimate OS is much better for support if something happens, and you'll be able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free when it comes out. I've been using Windows 10 Preview on my laptop for a few months. it's very nice. For a budget PC, it's better to go AMD because you can get a more powerful GPU to compliment your system.

For the CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz vs Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz
For the above, both of these were recommended. Which is better?

For the Video Card: GTX 770 vs RX 280x vs RX 290x vs GTX 960
Which is the best?

Keep the price in mind guys

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/build-budget-gaming-pc,4065.html - this is pretty reasonable - with a limit of $600 it will be tough if you are buying everything new. In general I'd go with microATX motherboard (stick to Asus, ARock, Gigabyte or MSI). Intel i3 or i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, 1 TB HDD (a 256GB SSD is nice as it will make your computer feel a lot faster in terms of program load times but depending on how avid a gamer you intend to be you can fill 256 GB pretty quickly. PSU - something around 500W would be enough. I like Seasonic/Corsair - good but not cheap. The power of your graphics card will have the biggest effect on your gaming experience so get the best you can. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107.html - not sure how much specific component selections advice you are looking for - within a given price range there is generally very little performance difference from one manufacturer to another (within 5%) as they all use the same basic reference designs and chipsets and you will not notice a 5% performance difference in real life.

The 4690k is the better processor, but since you're building a budget gaming PC, it's not needed, because the 4460 is not going to bottleneck a 280x or GTX 960. So you won't notice a huge difference when gaming.

The 280x is a little faster, but the 960 is much more efficient, stays much cooler, has the newest technology (DX12) and better drivers.

And those little cards do pretty dang good at 1080p: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardware-canucks-reviews/68817-nvidia-gtx-960-5-way-roundup.html

The 290x is a very good video card but probably too expensive for your build.

Here are two draw ups, builds are identical except for the video card:
