Hi,
I've found one of my old hard drives and wanted to read the files. I want to connect it to my dell but my dell uses sata 3 connectors.
How would I be able to read my hard drive? This hard drive was from a Hp vectra vl800.

Thanks,

Hey randycool79. You can connect your drive internally via the SATA connection. Don't worry, the SATA interface is backwards compatible, this will only make your drive run at the speed of SATA 1, but that won't effect anything either way, because your drive can't reach the maximum speed anyway. And you can try connecting the drive to the USB via a SATA to USB cable so that you can get your data.

Hope that helps.
