Building my first pc, used mainly for high fps AAA title gaming on 1080p for now, and going 1440p in the future. Will also do photo and video editing, and potentially streaming. With a 1500$ budget i will show you what i have picked out.

750w psu is good. This build is for more than gaming the i7 is overkill for gaming and the 980 is meant for way more than 1080p NVidia doesn’t recommend 1080p on that card a 970 will do 1080p ultra 60fps and solid 45+ FPS at 1440P. Asrock is one of the best brands there are.

Is 750w psu enough? Or overkill? Is this build made for gaming in your opinion? What would you change? Is asrock a good motherboard?

One of their main selling points with the 980 is dynamic super resolution technology. Thats what caught my eye. Downscaling 4k vid to 1080p or 1440p. As long as everything works i dont mind it being overkill, i just dont want it to not be enough. Im planning on doing some 3d rendering in the future which is why i was thinking i7.
