Hey!

I've recently noticed some potential problems with my PC, I've made two other forums concerning these problems but I thought it may be more useful to group them all together. I'll list the problems below, if anyone has a solution to anything then that would be greatly appreciated..

1) CPU - This is the main problem which may be caused by viruses or other means, I think this is a knock-on effect from the SensorDetector problem.. Anyway, under Task Manager > Performances > CPU Usage/History the usage is extremely high, like 60%-80% and the CPU Usage on CPU 0 is constantly at 100%.

2) RAM - I once again noticed this while on Task Manager > Performance > Memory/Physical Memory (MB) it is constantly at around 2.5GB even when I've just turned on the computer. The "Free" section of Physical Memory (MB) is very low, under 500MB all the time.

3) SensorDetector - As earlier mentioned this may be a cause for the extremely high CPU Usage. In Resource Manager SensorDetector uses about: 500 Threads, 25+ CPU and an Average CPU of 20.0+. First of all, what is SensorDetector? And most importantly, what does it do!? I cannot find a definite solution anywhere on the internet. Finally, should I delete it or leave it?

4) SVCHOST - In Resource Manager there are many variations of SVCHOST (In the screenshot below I counted 10) and the top one is using the same amount of Threads as SensorDetector but 50+ CPU at an Average CPU of 35.0+. So once again, what is SVCHOST? What does it do? Why are there so many variations of it? Are there any problems with the usage of the Threads and CPU?

5) System Idle Process - This was discovered once again in Task Manager > Processes > CPU (Filter). It uses SO much CPU, almost touching 100! Now, that may be me seeing high numbers and freaking out, this is because the description says "Percentage of the time the processor is idle" so maybe those high 90's are the percentage of the time the processor is being idle? Can someone please confirm these suspicions?

If it is any interest of yours at all these are the pervious forums briefly concerning these problems..

What is SensorDetector.exe?: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2555079/sensordetector-exe.html

If anyone is able to shed any form of light over this impending cloud of emotional turmoil hovering over my ignorant little head then that would immensely appreciated. Thank you all so much in advance and thanks for reading!

I have 4 Web Extensions: AdBlocker, avast! Online Security, avast! Safe Price and the Tom's Hardware add on.
How do I see if a software checks for an update all the time?
