I am able to run Crysis 1 at the highest settings in most in-game locations. However, when I look out onto the mountains on the map Island the framerate drops considerably and the game stutters insanely*. I am running the game with DX9 and the 64-bit executable. Below are two screenshots - one looking away from the mountains and one looking towards them. Does anyone know what may be causing this and/or how to fix it?

RAM - 8GB
*This occurs on the lowest settings as well.
