I have a Roku 3 in my basement. I used to have it connected wirelessly to my router in my office. I ran an ethernet line to a 2nd wireless router, which I disabled the DHCP and the wi-fi radio on. I then direct wired my Roku 3 to that router, which should now act as a switch instead. It connects to the interent and sees my main desktop computer, which BTW is directly connected to my main wireless router in the office. My issue is, the Roku is using the IP address of the router-now-switch? I cannot access the Roku using my iPhone, like I could when the Roku was connected to my wireless router. My iPhone is connected to the main router in my office. Any ideas? Can I disable the IP address function of the router-now-switch? Or can anyone suggest a way that I can have the Roku use the IP address of my main wireless router? Thanks in advanced!
