I was Wondering if it would be possible if maybe I'd use some old Computer parts for my new computer. I'll list the specs below. My main concern is my old build being a GIGABYTE and my new build is going to be with an ASUS Motherboard , and I was wondering if the Hard drive(1tb) can be used again on a different motherboard.
Old Computer:
GIGABYTE 970a-D3
8Gb RAM (Going In new build)
AMD-Bulldozer 8120 3.1ghz (Going in new build)
1Tb Hard Drive (Going in new build)
His Radeon 6780 Sapphire (Fried)
New Build:
ASUS M5A970 R2.0
Radeon R7250X
^Listed Above
Will everything listed "going In new build" work on my new PC? Will I have to reformat my hard drive before or after? Can I use my Old ram on my new Motherboard?
-Thanks
