I'm on a budget of 450 to get a motherboard, graphics card and processor for some gaming. What is the best I could get? I found this motherboard (MSI 970 GAMING Desktop Motherboard) for 100$, the case I'm using is a Raidmax super vipor, and need to know the cheapest motherboard that will fit (if that matters at all). I want a good graphics card and preferrably an amd cpu that work best for 300 then (if the motherboard is 100).
I wanted to get the new GTX 960 but then realized that leaves little room for a good cpu, which may end up bottle-necking. So I guess the real question is, What is the best cpu I can get for 150 that will work well with the GTX 960? Should I:
1.) Get the 960 and get a 150$ cpu
2.) Get the 960 and save for a better cpu
3.) Get a cheaper GPU and CPU that are efficient
Sorry for the ramble, any positive response is recommended. If I should get a different motherboard too, then go ahead but I need one that's decent, not 50$...
NOTE: I don't care about playing games at ultra graphics, but I mostly want to play decent graphics and on the other hand, rendering. Sometimes I do rendering and real time stuff that may help with a better computer.
I'm currently using the AMD 5400k APU with a Radeon 4650-d so whatever I get should most likely be better than what I have right now. Remember, I'm not that concerned about ultra, but just decent.
