Recommended PSU for my build?
I ran the parts through Newegg's PSU calculator and it said roughly 875W PSU.
Is this true? Anyways heres the build. Thanks for the help in advance! :)

The reason I ask is beacuse I was recommended a 550W by someone in this site and Newegg says different.

So if I just stuck with an i3 4150 3.5ghz that has hyper threading would that do? and only need the 550w psu?
I know performance might suffer a bit but would it be very noticable? if not thats $100 dollars off my build. Even more since i5 requires a better PSU

Your video card requires the large power supply, not the CPU. XFX specs say 750 watts minimum for R9-280X, and 850 recommended.

Ohhh okay, I was thinking CPU when I read card. Well what would a good GPU be that would work well with a 550W or maybe a 600W?
Also would I take much of a hit switching the CPU to the i3 4150?

Well im not looking to go too expensive, but if its a 970 around $300ish or a 960 around $200ish. for a PSU maybe $50-$75
