Question about psu cord

I lost the original cord to my coolermaster v700 psu, I found a cord thats marked as 120v, will it work fine? I have no clue how psus work so forgive me if I sound like and idiot.

If its the power cord - that goes from the wall socket to the power supply - and it fits, then it'll be fine.

Ok so then there must be something else, I've had this pc sitting unplugged for a while because of a bsod issue that I could never solve my comp would bsod when I logged into windows, I came across something that made me look to my keyboard as the problem, I switched keyboards and I don't bsod when under low stress (like browsing the internet, or playing a game with nothing else running) but when I'm playing and have chrome open and have like curse voice open all at the same time it bsod, so I was hoping it was this different psu cord I'm using lol
