Put in New hard drive now computer says missing partition and won't boot from anything how can I fix

Hi there Wendy Norton,
It will be great if you could provide some more information on the issue you are facing.
If this is a new drive, and you want to attach it to your systems as a secondary one(not a boot drive), you need to go to Disk Management and Initialize, partition and format it.
If something happened to your old drive, you got a new one and you want to install Windows(I assume that due to lack of additional information on the problem) on it, I would advise you to check this out: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/clean-install
