I Already had the mx100 256 But i got A ]-[ ell of a deal on the M500 960 (sub 300$) i couldn't pass up. my question is could i raid these drives and if so would it be worth it?

Solution
Since raid uses the smallest sized drive to configure an array...
a raid 0 would get you a (256GBx2) 512GB array
and raid 1 would get you (256GBx1) 256GB array.

As you can see, what you want to do just is not worth it.

Thanks for explaining it and not answering with a question i had done some more research and learned this for myself. A friend of mine had told me to use raid 0 and i didnt realize the drive limitation as you stated. and honestly dont need raid anyway. seems since i put the 2nd ssd in the stuttering i had been experiencing stopped everything is super fast with out raid (the stutter was the reason my friend suggested trying raid). Not sure how or why it went away with the 2nd drive as storage(maybe cause i put the pagefile on 2nd). But thanks again for an actual explanation.
