I have really wanted to make the jump into PC gaming the past few months, as I have an XBOX 360 right now and the graphics just don't cut it now a days. I was interested in the PS4/Xbox One until I found out it doesn't even play most games at 1080p. I was wondering if someone could throw me a parts list totaling roughly $500 that will play games at 1080p high settings. I would love to play games like battlefield 4 and H1Z1 on the PC (Clearly the superior platform here ^_^) I would like to avoid an AMD CPU If at all possible due to the bad upgrade path. All suggestions are welcome, thanks!

I suggest saving at least $600 so that you can ge ani3 and a r9 280.
That will enable you to ultra games at 1080p.
This build however you can get high at 1080p at very good fps.
