Hello,
First off, it ain't my first PC build, did 20+:
New pc build, when plugged in, the motherboard lights up as normal. When I power it on, fans start spinning but nothing happens. There is no display at all, tried to plug Analog/DVI/HDMI, nothing.
-Beeper thingy is plugged in, never heard any beep at all
-I've tried with only Motherboard CPU and RAM plugged in
-I've tried with another PSU already
-I've changed ram, tried every slots, every way nothing.
-Yes the 8pin power to the CPU is connected (well 4 of the 8 pins, and yes tried both of the 4set)
Is the motherboard just DOA or I missed something ?

Motherboard: ASUS H81M-A
CPU: i3-4160
PSU: Corsair CX430
RAM Gskill Ripclaws 1600 4Gb(2x2)

Motherboard: ASUS H81M-A LGA 1150 Intel H81 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
CPU : Intel Core i3-4160 Haswell Dual-Core 3.6GHz LGA 1150 54W Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4400 BX80646I34160

-Both 4th gen intel parts, It should work perfectly fine (http://processormatch.intel.com/Processors/CompatibleProcessors?componentName=H81M-A Lists the CPU as compatible)
-I have no graphics card, only a board, ram and cpu. I am plugging the display cables on the motherboard directly. The CPU supports integrated graphics as you can see on the product's full name.

Hello, So I've just recieved the new BIOS chip, [I bought this one for reference http://www.ebay.ca/itm/200973385245?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649] Told me it was the lastest version, so "H81M-A-ASUS-2105.CAP".

After installing it, still the same problem as before. Tried Reseting CMOS too, nothing...
This PC build is not for me and I really don't want to have to make him buy another board.. Is there anything else I might have missed?

New bios chip, correctly oriented, Board with CPU, CPU fan, tried 2 types of RAM, tried connecting with HDMI, and/or Analog and/or DVI (All onboard only, no GPU), tried adding a keyboard too.
No DVD nor Hard drive connected, Havn't tried the speaker since the new chip, had no sound the first time, I'll try that first thing in the morning

I mean, I have switched every pieces except the board and the cpu, my theory is that the board is a problem too but is there a possibility that it could be the CPU? Don't want to replace it and still have that problem :p
