Just curious as to i couldn't find any answers on the net. are Crossfire HD5770 better than a single SAPPHIRE R9 270X 2GB oc edition.

Okay i didn't think so just wanted to be sure. One last question. Is there a card close to the R9 280X for a cheap price. Any gpu recommendations would be great.

no the 270x would be faster. wouldnt waste my time again for low end crossfire, been there done that, never again (stuttering in certain games, vram limitiation of lower end cards and some games dont support dual cards). You might be able to find a 7970 (ghz) second hand for cheap, the 280x is a re-badge 7970.
