I have taken over running a Small holiday camp and I want to install an access point in each villa for the guests staying, I would like for each villas SSID to be different from each other although this is not essential, The farthest away villa from the modem is 200 metres which means I can not run Cat6 to each house from the modem, rather than putting switches at certain points to boost cables could I daisy chain in and out of each villas Access point (Distance between each Villa is 20/25 Metres) So Start at the modem and go into villa 1 (Wan Port?) Then take cat6 back out off one of the Lan ports on Villa 1 access point and run to Villa 2 (Wan Port?). I hope I am explaining myself properly, I appreciate advice on this as I need to decide regarding the cabling fairly quickly, I have more time regarding deciding on equipment.

OK, if you can't provision a switch anywhere near the villas then you have no choice but to daisy-chain everything. A router will do what you need, but the security concern is that every customer-connected device in every villa will be on the same LAN. An unscrupulous and tech-savvy customer could use that to their advantage. For example, I could discover the IP address of a laptop and try to access the C:\ drive remotely. If the OS wasn't password-protected, all I would need to know is the username, which will probably be the person's name. In reality, it would be tricky to actually pull this off, but it's an important consideration.

Between the routers you've chosen, the first one (Archer) is definitely the better buy.
As far as I know, WAPs only have a single Ethernet port, so daisy-chaining them isn't possible. It would be possible with a router in each villa, but I wouldn't recommend it. You'd be better off splitting the villas into two or three sections and daisy-chaining just those sections, otherwise you may run into bandwidth issues. Each section should then terminate at a managed Gigabit switch so you can manage the network traffic.

If you daisy-chain, you need to consider locking the network down. The last thing you want is a tech-savvy customer monitoring the activity of the neighbouring villas.

There's no need to use CAT6 cables; CAT5e is Gigabit-certified and the maximum length of a single cable is 100m.

Hi Thank you for taking the time out to answer, the reason I want to do one long daisy chain is that if i split them into 3 groups for example 2 of those 3 groups are already more than 100 metres away approx 150 metres away and would mean having to boost the cables on the way and I dont have anywhere to put a switch outdoors on that long cable run. I am located in Turkey and there are lots of access points and Routers with 1 Input (wan) and 4 output (lan) ports. I am attaching 2 links for the type of units, I was hoping that these would act as switches and access points rolled into 1 on my long run. Forgive the website is in Turkish but Pictures are self explanatory and the rest of the jargon is English anyway.
There will be no issue regarding security these would be placed in place that guests can not access.
The first link is probably what I would go for.
Thanks again for your time.

Thank you again for all your help. I was worried that 11 in and outs might be a problem. You initially mentioned a possible bandwidth issue. I take it with this equipment and cat6 cabling I should be ok. I mean this is only for people to be able to facebook, email, read news etc. I am not expecting anyone to be able to watch HDTV etc.

Thanks for all your help, I will order a backup switch in case one of the routers has a problem, I can temporarily replace it. Come to think of it, I will order a spare router so I can keep the villa with the problem with internet.
