What is the amount of WATT needed in my new build computer and are there any more tips?

so im building a computer:
GPU:sapphire r9 270x dual-x 2gb gddr5 oc boost
CPU:amd fx-8320 black edition
Motherboard:ASROCK 970 PRO3 R2.0
Case:Cooler master silencio 550 Mid tower
RAM:Kingston dual-x 16Gb set of 2x8(maybe x2 when more money is made)


so i was thinking about this PSU. But i dont know if it is right for my pc(so i need more or is this enough)
PSU:Cooler Master V650 Semi-Modular

this is my first full pc buy and i dont have alot of money,
Any tips would be appriciated!
I am building this pc for gaming/game-Recording(also video editing)

Yes, it should. RAM does not affect power consumption massively. You have plenty of overhead on a 650W unit, anyway.

A 650W unit should be enough, and that one is a pretty decent one. You could also get a good quality 500W unit, like a SeaSonic or XFX unit, and it would still work.

Other than that, it looks pretty good. I don't have any other particular recommendations to make.

A 650W PSU is more than enough juice to power that rig, you could even settle for 500W if you really wanted to save some money. I run a rig somewhere above the draw of yours on 500W and it's flawless. Just be sure to choose a reputable brand, Cooler Master shouldn't let you down, or Seasonic, EVGA, most of the big names will do.
