I currently have

-i7-4770K

-H100i

-ATX factor gigabyte ultradurable mobo

-8GB 1600MHZ cas9

-1x Powercolor R9-290 Turbo Duo
-1x ASUS R9 290 Direct CU Crossfired

-WD Blue 1TB

-Rosewill Photon 1200W GOLD

Currently I have this in chaser a31 with poor fans. Case is getting old and beaten, so instead of just buying new fans I want to get a new case that has great fans/airflow to keep my crossfire cool. Suggestions? Currently with just my powercolor card in there it often hits 87C while playing blacklight retribution. Averages between 81-85 though. Just hits a max of 87C while playing. I had a used asus 290 that I put in top slot of crossfire. It started hitting between 90-94C and unfortunately begin artifacting during gameplay and firestrike. I'm replacing it now with a new unit. I put the asus on top cause I assumed it'd cool better than the turbo duo.

Hopefully looking to get a case where I can remove the bottom hdd rack to let hopefully a 200mm fan shoot cold air into the case, for the fans on the gpus to catch. And what of side panel fans? Are they worth it for shooting cool air right to the gpu fans? Same with top fans? I'd probably move that to plant radiator

Maybe something where you can mount the hard drive on the bottom? So I could remove the hdd cages to allow the front fans to adequately push cool air to the center of the case?

Please suggestions are welcome?

What budget? Is a side windows important to you or do you prefer the more classical and usually quieter desings, like Fractal R5?

Look at the Fractal Design Define R5. Don't bother with a 200mm intake fan - fit 2x 140mm fans at the front, another one at the bottom and/or on the side panel (for the GPUs) as intakes - Fractal's fans are fine, and cheap (around £7). Set them running at 7V - they'll be barely audible, and suck in around 150cf/m between the 3.

I'd prefer a side window, but honestly I'm just looking for what would allow me to provide the coolest environment for my crossfire set-up. Budget is $200 but would rather keep it as much south of that as possible

All other prerequisites are secondary

Well, almost all the cases that go out for more than 100 have good airflow, so it basically comes down to space and aesthetics.

These are mere suggestions:

Personally I prefer the second one in terms of looks. There are of course many, MANY other options to pick from, just browse through «best 150-200$ case» and Lord Google will help you find one. If you do want me to take a deeper look, with more specifications, I'll do so :).

So the HAF X is the option you'd go with? I'm bouncing back and forth between the red and blue led versions of it. Seems to be small differences. The Red LED version is slightly taller dimension wise and only has one fan that's led as opposed to all four. The red version is also $30 cheaper so I could allocate that money to 1-2 more fans if needed.

If you do happen across other good ideas I'd be very much open

Just been having so much trouble with my crossfire set-ups in my current case. Really want to eliminate that issue entirely. The overheat on the asus has me really apprehensive. Don't want to pull the trigger on a $150+ case just to the same temps.

Nope, I prefer the NZXT. Looks amazing and is very spacious/has nice cooling. Of course the temperature improvement will never be amazing, for that you might want to invest in a watercooling solution instead.

Please get you're mind off the Titan, as it'll most certainly be a very expensive (and I mean VERY) slightly better GTX 980, with the precision thingys, and lots of CUDAs, and other stuff I think you wouldn't be much interested in (I don't know for sure though). Waiting for the next move from Nvidia might not be that smart, time wise, as it'll take them a good bit of it till any interesting cards start appearing...... R9 3XX though, that my friend is the answer.
