hey guys I'm looking at getting a laptop to play some starcraft 2, league and maybe a few other games but not looking to to have the best thing out there. So the Asus has an I7 but a gtx 850 and the MSI has an I5 but a gtx 860 I'm just not quite sure which is better.
I'm looking at these
MSI GE Series GE70 Apache Pro-061 Gaming Laptop Intel Core i5 4200H (2.80GHz) 8GB Memory 1TB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M 2GB 17.3

and
ASUS X550JK-DH71 Gaming Laptop Intel Core i7 4710HQ (2.50GHz) 8GB Memory 1TB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M 2GB GDDR3 15.6

I currently have an Asus g74 and I love it but its dying on be but I've had a good 4 years with it. I plan on putting an SSD and at least 4 gigs more ram in either when I get it. I know desktops are better which is why I have one at home that I just put a gtx 970 in so I'm set on that front. But my laptop is dying and i need something to take to school that I can play games on.
thanks guys

Unless you are doing tasks like streaming while gaming, I doubt you will notice the difference between CPUs (At which point the i7 might come out ahead, but you should use a desktop in that case).

Between the GPUs there is a sizable difference, and you will notice it.

Ya, do you think I'll notice much of a difference with the processor in like web browsing or anything like that? I currently have a I7-2670qm and I love it 12 gigs ram 250gig samsung solid state and its great. GPU boss rates my current I7 and the I5 at about the same level.

Ok thats good to know. I have heard the MSI runs a little hot (core temp up to 90c) but I figure if I re-paste it, it should run cooler.
