hello eveyone
i have THERMALETAKE water 2.0 preformer and an asus ranger z97 motherboard .... i pluged the fan in the cpu fam header. and the pump in the cpu opt header. and the pump is making some annoying noises

my pump is not pmw so should change the heqder ? and the board have only 4 pins fan headers .........ps: i have nzxt h440 that comes with fan hub.

also wich header should i put my cpu fan in "normale" cpu fan or the opt cpu header ?

Both 3 pin and 4 pin headers can run fans at varying speeds.

I use 4 pin fans on my CPU cooler connected to the 4 pin cpu fan headers on my motherboard.

I use 3 pin case fans withe the 3 pin case fan headers on my motherboard.

I can change the fan speeds on all my fans.

The CPU fans change speed automatically with the CPU temperature.

i7baby am talking about the pump. some say it has to be in +12v header ... wich my h440 fan hub does. some say its the opt cpu fan header

i read the box and they recommend putting the pump at a full speed
