my laptop suddenly have a problem. there's no internet connection even though the wifi is fine. my friends can connect to internet including my smartphone. but my laptop doesnt have internet connection. it can connect to the wifi, even the troubleshoot didnt detect any problem but i cant surf the web. not even through my smartphone hotspot. anyone knows whats wrong?

Depending on the type of laptop you have there sometimes is a "tower" icon near the top of your keyboard this will turn on and off your network adapter. try pressing it if you have that feature. If not try pressing the "Fn" key along with the f key that shows the same type of "tower" icon.
