Help! What can I do to improve my DOTA2 SETTINGS and still play at 60+fps. I can't buy a new gaming PC because i'm still a student, but, i think i can save up for upgrades. (can't upgrade ram though, they don't sell ddr2 ram here anymore). QUESTION: will upgrading my video card let me play DOTA2 at its high settings? (advance video options all checked with 1680x1050 res)

it is all a bit complicated. Just for Dota 2 though, I believe an upgrade to something like a GTX750ti or a 260x by radeon will help with that.

Ram is always available, check ebay.

Not many options here unfortunately.

Could possibly try a GTX 750 or Ti as these don't require much power and are good budget quality graphics card. Have you any idea what processor you have? Download Speccy on the internet and paste the results on here. It will do a full system scan.

I would just save up for a bit and build a new budget gaming PC. You can do this for very cheap. I could build a DOTA rig for $350 easy. :)

Thank you! I will try to find those vcards at our local computer shops here. Online buying is not an option for me because I have no means of paying. Thank you again :)

You can upgrade current PC, yes. You should get 2 more gigs of RAM (absolutely necessary) and HD7770(250x) or better (if you have lower end PSU then GTX 750).
