I have an XFX 550 80+ Bronze PSU which has 1 8 pin PCI adapter and 2 6+2 pin PCI adapters, my MOBO requires 1 8 pin but my GPU also requires 1 8 pin and also a 6 pin. My GPU came with a 2 6 pin to 1 8 pin conversion adapter and 1 2 molex to 6 pin adapter. I plugged in the 8 pin to the mobo and used to the converters for the GPU. My question is this, could I use the converter for the mobo plug to free up the 8 pin for the GPU and still be fine? I'm worried my GPU isn't getting enough power. Thanks.
